Kimberly & Brendan’s Art Deco Phoenix Wedding
categories: fabulous reception sites, floral inspiration, real weddings, Wedding Inspiration

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Arizona Wedding_Sunshine and Reign Photography

There are two distinct phrases that come to mind when we see Kimberly and Brendan’s Art Deco Phoenix Wedding. The first is, “They did it their way” and the second is, “They had SO MUCH FUN!”. See, this lovely pair planned a wedding where they clearly made their own decisions— they incorporated sentimental items to honor those they love, both their ceremony and reception venues have personal meaning to them, and the details were thoughtfully curated to create an evening like no other. Oh, and their after-party is one that I genuinely mourn the absence of in my life. You’ve just got to see this wedding beginning with the finery of their attire and ending with hula hoops!

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | Colors: We wanted our wedding to be reflective of both AZ (our beautiful sunsets) and the winter months, so we selected navy and copper with lavender as our accent color. Given the Phoenix Art Museum’s more modern feel, the theme of our wedding was a modern take on art deco and Gatsby, with Arizona twists.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Flowers: Our florist grew her own rosemary and lavender, our two favorite herbs/scents, and this was incorporated into the bouquets, centerpieces, and a bundle was tucked into each place setting at the guest tables. There were also sprigs of fresh lavender added to the water. Brendan’s boutonniere consisted of a succulent and white ranunculus while my bouquet consisted of white anemone, white ranunculus, blue thistle, purple tipped succulents, lavender roses, copper painted eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, and a very special flower: Picasso calla lilies with the purple center. My grandma, who played a huge role in raising me, passed away several years ago, and she carried a bouquet of calla lilies at her wedding so this was a way to pay tribute to her.

In addition to my gold Saint Mary’s College ring, I also wore a small gold ring on my right hand that is a family heirloom which all the women in my family have worn on their wedding day.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | Favorite Moment: Looking back there were so many incredibly special moments on our wedding day, but both of us think the first look was one of the top highlights of the day. There was so much anticipation to see one another, and because we had our photographers and videographers there it built up the anticipation even more. Seeing one another in that moment was pure joy and all of the nerves of the day melted away in an instant.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Ceremony: We were married at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Central Phoenix, which is a church where we have been members and attend regularly. Our family priest, Fr. Ben, officiated the Mass.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Coolest Getaway: In honor of Brendan’s Grandma, who also passed away several years ago, Brendan’s parents had his Grandma’s 1946 Chevy Coupe fully restored in time for the wedding and drove it to Phoenix. The beautiful navy blue car with chrome trim was an unforgettable tribute to Brendan’s Grandma and made for a dramatic getaway car!

It was only fitting that Kimberly and Brendan had their reception at Phoenix Art Museum—it’s one of the first places Kimberly took Brendan to when he moved to Phoenix from Tucson! And again, see how much fun they have together?

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Reception: The reception took place in Phoenix Art Museum’s Cummings Hall, a dramatic and spacious space perfect for entertaining.

Food was another really important aspect of our wedding since we are HUGE foodies. We decided to have a Southwest Italian feast that  highlighted the flavors and produce of Arizona as well as our love for Italian food. Our caterers incorporated traditional Italian pastas with Southwestern chilis, meats, and produce. The caterers’ signature braised short ribs were served with an ancho chili sauce and the favorite pasta of the pasta bar was the penne pasta with tequila lime chicken and peppers.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Cake: The beautiful and fresh cake featured my (Kimberly’s) layer—chocolate cake and cannoli filling—and Brendan’s layer—vanilla cake with cream and fresh raspberries.

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Arizona Wedding_Sunshine and Reign Photography

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The Photobooth: To match the classy, modern theme, our photobooth company handmade a wall of white, paper flowers as the backdrop for the photobooth fun! Many guests thought it was part of the museum.

If you’ve looked at a lot of wedding photos, you know how awkward some cake cutting/eating photos can be…but not Kimberly and Brendan’s cake photo! Oh no, these two are simply the cutest!

Art Deco Phoenix Wedding | The After Party: At the exit, guests were able to take a few glow sticks for the grand exit and after party, which was held at The Duce…guests also took some awesome handmade leather Arizona keychains that my beloved Grandpa made by hand. The keychains either said AZ or 1.7.17 (our wedding date).

The after party is where we giddily rejoiced for Kimberly and Brendan and the beautiful wedding day they planned—to have their photographers follow them to the after party where the couple and their guests played games, danced, and just let loose is just pure genius. It’s the best way we can think of to end a wedding!

What’s your advice for other couples to achieve such an easy-going & fun attitude? The stress leading up to the wedding day is like none other because each couple invests so much time, energy, and money into making it the perfect day. We had a blast on our wedding day and felt many things contributed to our relaxed and fun going attitude. First off, hiring the best team of vendors really paid off for us because we were confident in them and each one of them exceeded our expectations so we didn’t feel like we were worrying about anything on the day of the wedding. Surrounding ourselves with loved ones was also key to easing nerves. The greatest piece of advice for other couples that we can give is to remember this day is all about the union of you and your partner. Have faith in all of the planning and preparation you have both done and focus on one another because your guests will have a blast and the vendors will ensure everything else is perfect.

Our wedding day was the best day yet, and we feel so totally grateful and in love with how it all turned out. We are excited to share our story and hopefully inspire other engaged couples! We learned so much and grew even closer together as a couple during the planning process, and we feel it all paid off beautifully.

Where there any surprises or things you would change? We feel really blessed because we didn’t have any major surprises or issues on our wedding day; even during a rainy January we lucked out and got a sunny, cool weather day. Everyone told us prepare for something to go wrong, but we believe that due to all of our planning and amazing vendors (ok and a bit of good luck too), every single detail went off without a hitch. The week of the wedding we decided to add an informal “after party” at The Duce and we are so glad we did that. Even though it was a super long day already, our adrenaline kicked in and we (plus many of our guests) were wide awake and ready to continue the party! We would recommend to either book your reception venue an hour longer, or select an after party spot like we did. We closed down The Duce and partied until nearly 2am!

Congratulations Kimberly and Brendan and thank you for sharing your wedding with us!

Kaytie and Alex’s Best Day Ever Wedding

Best Day Ever Wedding _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Victoria Canada Weddings and Events_Arizona Biltmore_Keith and Melissa Photographers

Bride Kaytie, who previously worked for event planner Victoria Canada of Victoria Canada Weddings + Events, described her wedding as, “the dreamiest day” and once you get a look at it, you’ll understand why! The couple had their out of town guests in mind while planning their wedding so they chose Arizona Biltmore for their wedding venue which, they say, personifies “Arizona and winter comfy”. The details are gorgeous, the couple is so in love, there’s a few fun surprises, and overall, the planning that went into the day ended up making it Kaytie and Alex’s best day ever wedding!

When your wedding planner used to be your boss, you know there are some fun things in store…

One thing you’ll notice right away about Kaytie and Alex is how truly HAPPY they are together. They radiate love!

Best Day Ever Wedding | Favorite Moment: One of my favorite moments from the day, hands down, was the first look because Alex turned around and his eyes filled with huge tears (and let’s just say, Alex is NOT a crier). I also loved our vows because I thought they perfectly described the way we feel about one another and I was so glad we didn’t share them with each other ahead of time.

Best Day Ever Wedding | Color Palette: Kaytie and Alex chose cream and blush as the main colors for their decor but included navy with touches of metallic gold throughout to steer clear of their wedding being too muted.

Best Day Ever Wedding | The Ceremony: Kaytie and Alex exchanged vows in Arizona Biltmore’s Paradise Garden on a picture perfect Arizona day. The aisle was lined with rose petals and large floral arrangements framed the space beautifully; Victoria surprised the couple with a custom monogram that was applied to the mirrored pedestals.

Best Day Ever Wedding | Cocktail Hour: Cocktail hour on the lawn included a Nebraska football themed bar as a nod to Alex’s loyalty to his team. Kaytie recalls: I was chomping at the bit for months because I surprised Alex with a signature cocktail called, “Go Big Red” because he bleeds all things Nebraska.

Another fun fact, as told to us by Kaytie: Having football in common, Victoria and Alex were both very in tune with where one another stood when it came to their schools (Texas Tech and Nebraska); therefore, when a huge group of wedding crashers attempted to crash our wedding, not only did Vic spot them right away but she ended up busting them by putting them through a test of questions, including, “oh so you went to school with Alex at Iowa State?” Unfortunately for the crashers, they said, “yes!” Vic said, “mmm too bad because he went to Nebraska. Time to go”…we all got the biggest kick out of it because she’s such a badass.

The “fun facts” cards displayed throughout cocktail hour shared anecdotes about Kaytie and Alex’s love story; the escort card display was very special to Kaytie— the navy blue frame and fabric covered display board was built by Alex and Kaytie’s father.

This sign was another surprise from Victoria—just one more of the perks of having worked for a wedding planner!

Best Day Ever Wedding | The Reception: Kaytie and Alex’s dinner reception was in Arizona Biltmore’s Grand Ballroom where a mix of large feasting tables and round tables were set with cream linens, gold chiavari chairs, tall clear vases topped with grand cream and blush floral arrangements, and gold details throughout.

Best Day Ever Wedding | More Surprises: My 3 best friends are 100% Greek. That being said, there has always been a long-standing joke that I think I’m Greek (and now Alex, too). The 3 of them surprised us with a “Big Fat Greek Wedding” style dance! It was seriously the biggest crack up and such a blast.

Also, Victoria knew that since Alex and I have been dating we have always collected and dated the corks from the bottles of wine we drink…well, she told the catering manager at The Biltmore this little secret and when we got back to our room that night, there was a huge bag of corks waiting for us from all of the bottles that were opened at the wedding, it was the cherry on top to the perfect day.

Best Day Ever Wedding | Wedding Planner Love: When I was a sophomore in college, I had my sites set on wedding planning. To make a long story short, I ended up interviewing with Victoria and the rest was history! I worked for her for about 5 years and still do events with her from time to time when she needs an extra set of hands! She is honestly next level when it comes to anything event related. I remember watching her at weddings in awe and thinking to myself, “I can’t even imagine what it would be like if she could do my wedding one day.” Well, fast forward through years of friendship, tons of incredibly stunning events, and lots of wine and laughs later, she did end up planning our wedding! …and of course, just as I imagined way back when, it was a dream having her there through the whole process!!!

Best Day Ever Wedding _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Victoria Canada Weddings and Events_Arizona Biltmore_Keith and Melissa Photographers

Best Day Ever Wedding | Wedding Day Love: This probably sounds cliche but there isn’t a single thing either of us would change. At the end of the night, as we were walking back to our room, all we could say was how completely flawless, stunning, and dreamy the whole day was. It was such a blast on so many levels! If possible, we would relive the day over and over and over again!

Congratulations Kaytie and Alex and thank you for sharing your BEST DAY EVER wedding with us!

A Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | Aimee and Erik
categories: destination weddings and honeymoons, fabulous reception sites, real weddings, Scottsdale Weddings, Wedding Inspiration

classically elegant Arizona wedding _ Phoenix Bride and Groom_El Chorro_Ryan Nicole Photography

Aimee and Erik’s classically elegant Arizona wedding is the stuff dreams are made of—there’s a beautifully in love couple, a stunning setting, a plethora of emotion, and of course the romantic “I do” moment. You’ll love the pretty Southwest-meets-Georgia details (the bride is from the south) and the surprise reception performance!

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | Color Palette: The inspiration for our colors came from the natural landscape of the venue. El Chorro is beautiful, so I wanted something that complemented it rather than trying to do something that looked out of place. My colors were peach and patina. Patina is the color of eucalyptus which is my favorite shade of green and I choose peach, because I’m a Georgia peach! The colors played well together.

Aimee’s “father’s first look” is one of the sweetest we’ve seen—just look at her dad’s priceless reaction!

And of course the couple’s own first look was pretty special too

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | The Ceremony: Aimee and Erik chose to exchange vows at El Chorro’s manicured event lawn that’s nestled at the base of the mountains between Camelback & Mummy Mountains; chairs were draped with eucalyptus garland and satin ribbon. The couple’s dog Archer was given the honor of ring bearer and he played the role expertly!

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | Favorite Moment: It’s hard to pick one moment that stands out as our favorite when the day itself was filled with so many wonderful moments. However, there is one moment that will forever be burned into my heart.  It was the ceremony. Standing up, in front of our friends and family, professing our love and commitment to each other was something that I never imagined. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the fun wedding planning details like linens, signature cocktails and bridesmaid dresses. However, it all comes down to the one you are marrying… I remember standing under the arbor across from Erik, holding hands–looking deep into each others eyes. I remember how green his eyes were in that moment and how tightly we held onto each others hands. His eyes were filled with so much love, trust and commitment. Everyone else faded away and we were in our own little world.

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | Cocktail Hour: While Aimee and Erik strolled through El Chorro’s immaculate grounds, guests enjoyed the outdoor patio at the venue and sipped on margaritas; Aimee’s mother lovingly created the gold frame escort card display.

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | The Reception: Guests proceeded into Casa Paloma for the reception. The room was decorated with both classic and distinct touches; gold and cream linens bore an aztec pattern, floral arrangements of greenery, peach and fresh white flowers topped each table, and peaches served as place card holders. Aimee and Erik chose to dine at a sequined sweetheart table where they had the best view of their loved ones.

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | The Big Surprise: During my maid of honor’s speech, she welcomed up the best man (groom’s brother) to “help give the speech”. Much to our surprise, they busted out in song and dance with their own rendition of the “Erik and Aimee love story”. They rapped, verbatim, our love story. It was hilarious. At the very end of their song all the wedding guests got up from their chairs and headed onto the dance floor for a flashmob. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life. All our friends and family did a choreographed routine to “Uptown Funk”

Classically Elegant Arizona Wedding | Elite Circle Wedding Vendors: We choose El Chorro because its breathtaking of course! We had dinner there when we were visiting my father who lives Scottsdale a few years back. After we got engaged, Erik and I started discussing venue locations right away. He brought up El Chorro and it was no-brainer for me. Scottsdale is not only where my father lives, but it’s a fun location for a destination wedding…Believe it or not, I interviewed 7 wedding coordinators over the phone. I used to be in corporate events so finding the right person to spearhead our wedding was very important to me. I needed someone that would understand my type-A personality and be “on-it”.  As we say in the south “The devil’s in the details”. Stephanie from A Day to Cherish knocked it out of the park on our initial phone call. She really sold me on the fact that she knew our venue like the back of her hand. Plus, she has a similar working style that I have. She was very responsive over email, which was critical for planning a wedding remotely.  To top it off, she has a great rapport with the El Chorro staff.

Aimee and Erik, congratulations and thank you so much for sharing your classically elegant Arizona wedding with us!

Remy + Andy’s Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician
categories: fabulous reception sites, for your ceremony, real weddings, reception ideas, Scottsdale Weddings, Wedding Inspiration

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Arizona Wedding Magazine_Mike Olbinski Photography

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician: Remy and Andrew planned the loveliest wedding at the iconic The Phoenician Scottsdale where many couples choose to exchange vows due to the property’s lush surroundings, grand ballrooms, and legendary service.

Bride Remy tells us about her unique “progressive” style wedding: We had an outdoor evening ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner outdoors then an indoor ‘after party’ in one of the ballrooms. Each area was decorated slightly differently so that the evening slowly progressed from a soft romantic ceremony to a fun party atmosphere, using gradual changes in lighting, flowers, and decor to provide overall continuity.

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician | The Ceremony: The couple exchanged vows in a magical setting—The Phoenician Scottsdale’s Orchid Lawn— where they were surrounded by twinkle lights, candles, and a chandelier overhead; guests sipped prosecco and craft beers during the ceremony—an idea we adore!

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Arizona Wedding Magazine_Mike Olbinski Photography

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician | Cocktail Hour: The evening began with an outdoor cocktail hour underneath a draped canopy—the white draping was embedded with twinkle lights to make it glow. Dandelion chandeliers were hung over three mirrored tables that featured small red, white, and green floral arrangements placed in mirrored vases.

One of our favorite touches was monogrammed, silver-framed photos of our grandparents and parents on their respective wedding days, placed on the cocktail tables along with different F. Scott Fitzgerald love quotes printed in script and bordered in assorted frames.

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician _Phoenix Bride and Groom_Arizona Wedding Magazine_Mike Olbinski Photography

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician | The ReceptionMy favorite touch was the printed menu imposed with monogrammed matches and sparklers for guests to light upon our entrance…for dinner on the lawn, the central focal point was a large chandelier that hung above a black and white checkered dance floor. Overhead glimmering lights anchored the space.

Progressive Wedding at The Phoenician | The After Party: Guests progressed into the ballroom that had white draping and pink up-lighting; the couple participated in a raucous hora (a dance where guests hoist the bride and groom high above the crowd on chairs to the “Hava Nagila”) and several guests joined in.

White lounge furniture and switching to a DJ for the music created a club-like atmosphere. To match the mood, I changed into a tea length princess gown with a sparkling bodice. Here we served our cake, along with small dessert bites and late night pizza to make sure no one went hungry!

We love that Remy chose to attend her after party in a tea-length gown that had a crystal bodice!

Rachel & David’s Spring Wedding in the Desert
categories: bridal fashions, fabulous reception sites, floral inspiration, real weddings, reception ideas, Scottsdale Weddings, Wedding Inspiration

spring wedding in the desert _Phoenix Bride and Groom_El Chorro_Pinkerton Photography

Rachel and David’s spring wedding in the desert was one gorgeous affair! The couple, whose guests were mostly from out of town, planned a wedding with the desert in mind including a pretty color palette of copper and rose gold; succulents, paired with large pink peonies and peach roses, were everywhere—as it should be when planning a wedding in Arizona! Enjoy their perfect day at El Chorro, in the heart of Paradise Valley:

Spring Wedding in the Desert | Thoughtful Details: Rachel and David’s wedding had so many sweet and thoughtful touches. From David surprising Rachel with a London blue Topaz ring (the couple intends for it to become a family heirloom), to the locket that first belonged to David’s great-great grandfather that was presented to David by his brother/best man during a toast, to Rachel using her great-grandmother’s handbag, the couple focused on family and tradition in the most beautiful ways.

Spring Wedding in the Desert | Favorite Moment: Seeing each other for the first time was our favorite memory as a couple (we did our first look prior to the ceremony). Walking down the aisle with my father was also a very special moment and the most emotional for me.

spring wedding in the desert _Phoenix Bride and Groom_El Chorro_Pinkerton Photography spring wedding in the desert _Phoenix Bride and Groom_El Chorro_Pinkerton Photography

Spring Wedding in the Desert | The Ceremony: The ceremony took place in El Chorro’s Herb Garden—a sweet and intimate place to exchange vows. Rachel and David planned a “desert chic garden party” wedding so the atmosphere was a perfect fit; rose petals lined the aisle, greenery was draped across the last row of chairs, saguaro cactus skeletons framed the altar, and an artful design of roses, succulents, and cacti finished off the look.

Rachel recalls: I love cacti and succulents and wanted both incorporated into soft, romantic floral arrangements along with my favorite flowers: peonies, ranunculus, and David Austin roses. The desert sunset was the inspiration for our wedding colors, and blush became the focal color along with rose gold and copper accents.

Spring Wedding in the Desert | Cocktail Hour: Guests enjoyed prickly pear margaritas and contemporary music during cocktail hour then headed to the South Lawn for a family style Southern-inspired dinner.

spring wedding in the desert _Phoenix Bride and Groom_El Chorro_Pinkerton Photography

Spring Wedding in the Desert |  The Reception: The reception was at El Chorro’s South Lawn—the venue provides a beautiful space for intimate weddings with the most spectacular views of Mummy Mountain. We love Rachel’s description of the table: shimmery blush linens, antique pink glassware, copper and rose gold accents (provided by the chairs), chargers, and flatware, and the beautiful greenery with soft flowers and candles down the center all took my breath away. The antique furniture located at the outdoor fireplaces was so elegant and inviting to our guests to sit together and socialize throughout the evening.

Spring Wedding in the Desert | The Sugar: Rachel and David’s adoration for the desert extended to their choice of cake and sweets as well! Cactus themed sugar cookies and mini-cupcakes flanked the almond strawberry and pink velvet half-dressed wedding cake that also bore a prickly pear cactus pad.

Spring Wedding in the Desert | Vendor Love: A big reason I chose El Chorro was because of Lindsey Rendon, their event sales manager. She is just lovely and so accommodating. I had a great experience touring the venue with her and loved all the outdoor space. El Chorro has beautiful landscaping and desert terrain, which is exactly what we wanted. A Day to Cherish is one of El Chorro’s preferred vendors, and I read great reviews online. After speaking with Stephanie over the telephone, I knew she was the right person for the job. She is just so sweet, easy going, and fun to work with. She and Lindsey were both a godsend.

Guests enjoyed dancing until the wee hours in the Classroom Bar that is an extension of the South Lawn area at the venue; florist Butterfly Petals softened the western decor and adorned the taxidermy with flower crowns (so clever!).

Katie and Marc exude an easy-going, super in love, thrilled to be married kind of vibe and we love how they planned their wedding with a low key and reverent attitude. Their wedding day was a modern fun wedding that you’re sure to enjoy!

Katie gave Marc Green Lantern cuff links on a trip to Carlsbad Caverns (Marc almost proposed there but Katie’s glad he choose to pop the questions above ground!) since they are his favorite superhero and he wore them proudly on his wedding day!

Katie recalls: We relied heavily on the help of our family, friends, and church to pull off our “a la carte” wedding. The end result was a day that was not only stress free, but also incredibly fun and joyful. The design we were going for was simple, clean, and modern, and one of our priorities was making sure our guests truly enjoyed themselves.

Katie & Marc’s Modern Fun Wedding Ceremony: The couple wed outdoors on a gorgeous February afternoon in Tempe— the sun was shining, and love was in the air. The geometric shapes the couple chose for their decor add a chic modern touch!

Katie’s favorite moment of the day was walking down the aisle and seeing Marc beaming with joy.

A Modern Fun Wedding Color Palette: we chose bold colors (navy, tangerine, and gray) and geometric shapes. [Katie’s dad] built a custom geometric backdrop, which he partially assembled in the Northwest. He brought it down to Arizona in pieces and then had to finish assembling it on the day of the wedding.

Husband and wife!

Katie & Marc’s Modern Fun Wedding Reception: Guests dined outside where the stage was set for an evening of celebration.

The menu was simple. We, as well as so many others in our lives, have severe food sensitivities, and Chipotle’s menu is very accommodating to those with allergies. Chipotle also happens to be where we ate just before Marc proposed to [me].

The bold blue linens and orange blooms were a lovely complement to the rose gold geometric decor items and greenery used throughout; Katie’s dad’s wooden geometric design made for a fabulous head-table backdrop.

Photographer Tracy Battaglia of Fully Alive Photography stole the couple away for some desert photos and the scenery didn’t disappoint!

For dessert, we chose cupcakes because we’ve seen how much of a hit they are at weddings. Guests seem to love selecting their flavor, and that fit into our desire to help our guests enjoy themselves.

Aren’t these cupcakes yummy looking? The Starbucks is a nod to where the couple met—see their engagement session and love story here!

Katie & Marc’s Modern Fun Wedding Reception: One particularly romantic moment occurred during the first dance. Katie tells us: In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I had been feeling anxious and insecure about our first dance. I had even taken some ballroom dance lessons just to feel more comfortable on the dance floor. Little did I know the surprise Marc had for me. When it was time for our first dance, he sat me down on a chair, took several steps back, and danced for me. It was tender, sweet, and romantic, and stole everyone’s hearts. (It turns out he was also taking lessons from the same studio as I was and all the studio staff were in on it, too!)

Then, with Katie’s nerves calmed, the party started…and boy did this group have fun (glow sticks and necklaces made the party extra festive!)

We felt so blessed by our family and friends, and we continue to feel blessed in our new marriage. We’re certainly not the youngest newlyweds on the block but this is the first time for both of us and we’re so grateful that God kept our hearts for each other.
